Kodabas processes personal information about you when you visit our websites, sign up for, and use our services, or otherwise get in touch with us.

We are concerned that you should feel confident that your personal data is processed in a responsible manner. This privacy statement tells you how we collect your personal information and what we use it for. Who treats the personal information?

Kodabas AS (Fridtjof Nansens plass 5, 0160 Oslo) is responsible for the processing of the personal information we process in connection with the use of our member services, websites and social media, or when you get in touch with us in any other way.

What kind of personal information do we use?

Kodabas primarily stores company-related information such as GLN, organization number, postal / street address, e-mail addresses and telephone numbers of the member companies. In addition, the names of contact persons who handle subscriptions, memberships, training, etc. are kept.

We also process feedback, comments and questions received from members in connection with meetings, telephone conversations, documents and emails.

It is voluntary to give us access to your personal information.

What do we use the personal information for? 

The information is used to take care of our members and ensure that the solution works satisfactorily. The data is used as a basis for invoicing membership, training users, daily contact and answering inquiries and to provide access to the data in the product catalog and K-portal as well as sending out newsletters and other information about any downtime of system and other system-related messages.

What is the legal basis (treatment basis) for the treatment?

We process personal data on the basis of a legitimate interest. Kodabas is dependent on registering information on the users of our services to ensure the best possible dialogue and service.

Who do we share personal information with?

We store personal information in the physical archive (contracts), on the server (email correspondence and member lists) and in the various technical solutions (invoicing, newsletter, training).

The information is stored for as long as is necessary for us to be able to offer you our services or to fulfill the purpose of the membership.

How long do we keep the information?

If you notify us that you have left the company, or request that your information be deleted, we will delete your information from all our lists.

Who has access to the information?

Your information will only be disclosed to others where this is necessary to provide our services. We will be able to share your personal information with our data processors and technical subcontractors (see overview at the bottom of the page).

We will share personal information with public authorities if we are required to do so based on a statutory disclosure obligation.

How do we secure personal information?

We have established routines and measures to ensure that unauthorized persons do not gain access to your personal information, and that all processing of the information in general takes place in accordance with applicable law.

Your rights

The privacy policy gives you a number of rights, including the right to access, correct and delete personal information we have stored on you. You also have the right to oppose the processing of personal data and the right to oppose personal profiling and automated decisions.

With regard to the requirement for deletion, there is an exception for the information that is necessary for us to be able to provide a service that you still want to have access to, or it is required by law to store the information for a specific period.

Use of cookies on our websites and newsletters

We use cookies (Google Analytics) to keep statistics on user activity on our websites, with the aim of increasing the user-friendliness of our members and external contacts. The information from Google Analytics is stored on Google's servers in the USA, and is subject to Google privacy policies.

Our publishing tool is WordPress. A cookie is set to control how content is displayed and safeguards various data about the current user session.
